Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a young person's life? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to provide one-on-one care for a high school student who is wheelchair-bound. This rewarding position requires both medical expertise and a nurturing approach to ensure the student's health and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Schedule:

  • 5:30 AM: Meet at the bus depot to accompany the student on the entire bus route.
  • During the School Day: Provide continuous care and support to the student, including monitoring oxygen levels with a tank, tube feeding, and general safety monitoring.
  • 3:30 PM: Accompany the student on the bus route back home and to the bus depot.

  • Wednesday Early Release: Adjust schedule to accommodate the early release timing.

  • Flexible Arrangement: The start and end points of the route may be adjusted to meet at the student’s house if more convenient.

    Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing or working with students with similar needs is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing oxygen tanks and tube feeding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the student, family, and school staff.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to a changing schedule.
