Job Title: School-Based Nurse (Full-Time)
Location: In-home (Tuesdays & Thursdays), High School (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Start Date: December 2024
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week

Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time nurse to provide dedicated care for a medically fragile female high school student. This individual has developmental delays, is nonverbal, wheelchair-bound, and requires g-tube feeding. Care will be provided both in-home (Tuesdays & Thursdays) and in the school environment (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one medical support to the student at home and school
  • Monitor and manage g-tube feedings and care
  • Assist with daily living activities and mobility support (wheelchair)
  • Ensure the student’s safety and well-being in both settings
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family to maintain a supportive care plan
  • Follow medical protocols and communicate with healthcare providers as needed

    Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN license in the state
  • Experience working with medically fragile, nonverbal, and wheelchair-bound patients preferred
  • Strong understanding of g-tube care and management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
