1:1 School Based Nurse Job Opportunity – Illinois

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 school-based position near Hershey, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing medical support for a 4th-grade student throughout the school day and during van transportation.

Position Details:

  • Manage continuous Baclofen pump.
  • Administer G-tube feedings (4x/day) and oral feeding support.
  • Implement aspiration precautions and provide oral suctioning as needed.
  • Monitor for seizure activity and administer rescue medications if required.
  • Assist with medications at school, including Keppra (2x/day) and Albuterol as needed.
  • Provide bathroom care and G-tube site maintenance.
  • Perform passive range of motion exercises (2x/day) as needed.

    Requirements:

  • Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license.
  • Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience with G-tube, Baclofen pumps, seizure care, and medication administration.
