ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the Oxnard, CA area. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students in a K-8th grade setting
• Serve as a General School Nurse, addressing various health needs and concerns
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote student health and safety
• Administer medications, provide first aid, and perform routine health screenings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Position Details:

• RN BSN qualification required
• Must have or be willing to apply for preliminary CSN (Certified School Nurse) application
• Full-time position: 35 hours per week
• Caseload: K-8th grade students
• General School Nurse responsibilities
• Duration: 2023-2024 school year

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• BSN degree
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Compensation: The hourly pay for this contract position will range from $40 to $45, depending on experience, credentials, and budget.
