Arlington, Texas - CST (Certified Surgical Tech) - 13 Weeks - Travel Assignment

Are you a skilled and certified Surgical Technician looking for a casual position in Arlington, Texas? Look no further! We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Surgical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
• Handle and care for surgical specimens with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clean and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
• Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the operating room.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is essential.
• Proven experience as a Surgical Technician in an operating room setting.
• Sound knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings as needed.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
