Job Title: Full-Time School-Based LVN in El Monte, California

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Full-Time School-Based LVN for an ASAP start, summer and the 2023/2024 school year to work in El Monte, California. The LVN will work in a health office, providing first aid, medication administration, and other health-related services as needed. This is not a 1:1 nurse to student ratio, but rather coverage for the whole school.

El Monte is a city in Los Angeles County, California. It is located in the San Gabriel Valley, east of downtown Los Angeles. El Monte has a diverse population and a strong sense of community. It is home to many parks, cultural attractions, and local businesses.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Spanish bilingual LVN with experience working in a school setting. The candidate must have a valid LVN license in California and be able to work full-time during the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid, medication administration, and other health-related services as needed.
• Monitor student health and maintain accurate health records.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and other staff members regarding student health issues.
• Collaborate with school administrators and other healthcare professionals to develop health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid LVN license in California
• Spanish bilingual
• Experience working in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain accurate health records and follow health policies and procedures
