Cath Lab RN Currently Needed in Birmingham, AL: Travel in Safe Hands

Location: Birmingham, AL

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures

Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for signs of complications

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Active RN license (Alabama or compact)

BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations
