Position: General and 1:1 Nursing Staff
Location: Kirkland, WA
Hours per Week: 40
Days per Week: 5
Start Date: September 3, 2024
End Date: June 15, 2025
Caseload Size: Varies
Caseload Age: 3 – 22

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and perform health assessments
  • Manage student health records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student well-being
  • Provide 1:1 support for students with specific medical needs
  • Conduct mandated health screenings and health education for students, parents, and district employees
  • Address daily health care needs including G-tube or GJ-tube feedings, daily medications, respiratory treatments, and emergency situations

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • Preferred experience in school nursing, pediatric nursing, community health, critical care, medical-surgical, or emergency room nursing
