Are you a dedicated RN looking for a rewarding role supporting students with specialized medical needs? We have a full-time opportunity in Schiller Park, IL, to work one-on-one with a medically fragile student.

Position: 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Schiller Park, IL
Type: Full-Time Preferred
School Year: 2024-2025

Role Details:

  • Primary Care: Provide specialized care for a 3rd-grade female student, including trach and vent management.
  • Bus Riding: Assist with transportation to and from school as part of the role.
  • Focus: Support the student’s health and well-being throughout the school day.

    Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage trach and vent care for the student.
  • Monitor and respond to the student’s medical needs during school hours.
  • Ensure the student’s safety and well-being while riding the school bus.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to maintain the student’s health plan.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Experience with trach and vent care preferred
  • Strong commitment to working with medically fragile children
