Certified Surgical Tech Contract: Norman, OK

Sunbelt staffing is hiring for a Surgical Technician in Norman, OK. If you are looking for a new opportunity, Sunbelt is seeking an experienced candidate for this 13 week position. This is a great chance for any Surgical Technician seeking travel experience.
Job description/ requirements:

• Must have completed a Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred. 
• Position requirements include, performing basic duties of a surgical technologist.  
• Sterilize equipment and make sure that there are adequate supplies for surgery.
• Ready patients for surgery, such as by washing and disinfecting incision sites. 
• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies.

Certifications:

• BLS
• National Certification is preferred

Assignment:

• 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM - 3x12
• Weekend: 1 Full Weekend/Mo
• Call: 6 Call Shifts/Mo
