Position: Surgical Tech

Unit: Operating Room - Neuro 

Location: Birmingham, AL

There is a facility in Birmingham, AL actively interviewing for an experienced Surgical Tech with Neuro (head and spines) experience. This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 13 Weeks
• Days; 3x12s 
• 36 hours per week  
• Possible extension based on performance

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Degree from a Surgical Technology program preferred but not required
• BLS

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

• Set up and break down Sterile Field
• Perform an accurate instrument count
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon
• Communicate needs with O.R team
