Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

Position Description:

We are seeking a committed Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, for a 13-week contract. Operating from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, call duties will be determined based on requirements. Your responsibilities will include aiding in various surgical procedures and ensuring the readiness of the operating room for each surgery. The spectrum of surgical specialties encompasses General Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, and more, catering to both adult and pediatric patients. Proficiency in endovascular procedures is a prerequisite.

Requirements:

Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. DORA certification.


Responsibilities:

Assist in patient positioning, surgical prepping, and draping during surgical procedures. Set up the operating room, ensuring availability and functionality of all equipment and instruments for scheduled surgeries. Execute essential tasks as a surgical technologist to support diverse surgical teams. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless and efficient surgical processes.
