  • Location: Harrisburg, IL
  • Position Type: Full-time, 13-week contract (with possibility of extension)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (evening and midnight shifts available)
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, weekly pay
  • Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and facility budget

  • Active Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience
  • At least 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience in a similar setting
  • Must meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer

Job Duties:

  • Provide compassionate and competent direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with prescribed protocols
  • Monitor patients' conditions closely, including vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care plans
  • Document patient information, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to uphold standards of care and safety
