Contract Long Term Care Registered Nurse - RN

We are accepting applications for a Contract LTC Registered Nurse - RN for job openings in Grantsville, MD. This is a 8-week assignments (with options to extend), 40/hr work week (8's), see below for more information.

Responsibilities:

• Admitting new residents
• Assisting physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
• Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
• Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
• Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
• Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents

Qualifications:

• Willing to work all shifts
• Candidate must have one year of skilled nursing experience
• Experience with developmental disabled
• Valid Maryland RN License
• Current BLS certification
• Candidate must be willing to float
• Highly Motivated and patient
