Sunbelt Staffing, a premier nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a reputable psychiatric facility in the serene town of Boulder, MT during their June orientation. Contract Details:

  • Location: Boulder, MT
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: June Orientation TBD
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Variable Shifts (Most commonly evening and midnight shifts)
  • Orientation: Two-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Dates TBD)

  • Active Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS Certification
  • Active CPI Certification preferred
  • Background in psychiatric care
  • Minimum of 2 years of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience

Job Duties:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring compliance with medication schedules and protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, behavior, and overall well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising healthcare provider.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients with intellectual disabilities, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, while respecting patient dignity and autonomy.
  • Document patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and comprehensively in the electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and development.
