Contract School Nurse Job - Full Time - Elmwood, IL

Elmwood, IL: Seeking to hire a Certified School Nurse to provide support to a high school health room. This position is full time working Monday through Friday during school hours.

School Nurse Responsibilities:

• Providing direct care to students 9-12th grade in the health room
• Diabetic care
• Asthma Care
• Medication administration
• Wound care
• Immunization compliance
• Vaccine paperwork
• Contacting parents
• Developing care plans
• Special education evaluations
• Respond to emergency situations
• Float across buildings within district as needed

School Nurse Job Qualifications:

• Illinois RN License
• Bachelors in Nursing
• IL PEL Certification (Must have or in process)
