Contract School Registered Nurse (RN): Windsor, NC

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of school staffing and therapy services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Windsor, NC. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to students within the local school district.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students with various medical needs, including those with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and injuries.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess students' health conditions, recognizing any changes and responding appropriately.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency care plans for students with specialized needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of students.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records and medical histories.
• Promote health and wellness through education and preventive measures.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet other employment requirements.
