Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Darien, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients with G-tubes and seizure monitoring needs. This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week, and an hourly rate of $33 or higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Assist in the development of patient care plans
• Provide G-tube feeding and care
• Monitor patients with seizure disorders and take appropriate action as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of 1-year experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting
• Experience with G-tube feeding and care
• Experience monitoring patients with seizure disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
