Emergency Department RN - Contract Position
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 12-hour nights (1900-0730) | Every other weekend | No call
Requirements:
Active WI RN license or compact license
3+ years fast-paced ED experience (no new grads)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (all current)
COVID-19 vaccination required
Critical Skills:
Cardiac rhythm interpretation
Trauma/Code Blue experience
TPA administration
Procedural sedation
Strong triage skills preferred
Department Features:
168 daily patients (neonates to geriatrics)
High-acuity cases: STEMI, stroke, GSW, MVC
Strong mental health population
Support staff:
24/7 ED Techs & Unit Secretaries
Dedicated ED Educators
Security presence
Technology:
EPIC EMR
Alaris pumps
Pyxis medication systems
Schedule Details:
Every other weekend rotation
2 major holidays required
2-shift orientation
