Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Emergency Room (ER) RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Burlington, WI. This role is ideal for a skilled ER nurse ready to make an impact in a busy, team-oriented environment. Located near the beautiful lakes of southeastern Wisconsin, Burlington offers a warm community atmosphere with easy access to Milwaukee and Chicago.

Position Details:

  • Location: Burlington, WI
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Equipment/Systems: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis

    Responsibilities:

  • Triage patients and provide high-quality emergency care, including assisting with rapid sequence intubation (RSI), procedural sedation, and patient restraints
  • Administer blood products, including mass transfusions, and provide care for trauma activations
  • Manage stroke and neuro alert cases, adhering to neuro alert protocols and criteria
  • Provide care for cardiac emergencies, including STEMI activations
  • Collaborate with ER team to ensure optimal patient care and efficient response times

    Requirements:

  • Active WI or compact state RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience with expertise in trauma and cardiac care
  • Familiarity with Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication management systems
  • EPIC EMR experience is highly preferred
