A facility in Rome, NY is in need of an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position. As a vital member of our emergency department team, you will provide expert care to patients in need of immediate medical attention. This contract opportunity offers a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients, utilizing your expertise in triage, assessment, and intervention.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and implement treatment plans according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment provided.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency nursing practices.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
