Extended Recovery Unit Registered Nurse Travel Job Opportunity - Canton, Georgia

A 211-bed, Level II Trauma center in Canton, GA is hiring a Extended Recovery Unit RN  to work a 13-week contract in the Observation Unit. This facility is currently offering day and night shift for 36 hours per week. To qualify you will need at least 2 years of current PACU or Extended Recovery Unit RN experience.  BLS, ACLS certifications are required.  Georgia RN License or Multistate License.  

• Start date: 2/13 or 2/20
• Day and Night Shift available
• 36 hours/week 
• 18-29 visits per day,
  23 hour Surgical Observation Unit. All patients admitted from PACU, interventional radiology, or directly from EVOR (no direct admits or med overflow). FAST paced unit with patients staying anywhere from 2hrs to 23hrs overnight. Focused on surgical recovery and safe and timely discharge.
  Multiple admits and discharges per RN per shift
• On call: No
• Weekends: Yes, rotations
• Holidays: Yes, rotations
• 13-week contract + Extensions
• 211 bed facility, Level I Trauma Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center

Qualifications:

• 2+ Years of Recent PACU, ICU or Extended Recovery Unit RN Experience 
• Georgia or Multistate Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS - AHA Certification
