Sunbelt has a full time job opportunity for a School Nurse in the Elgin area. This is a general Health Room position with responsibilities including:

overseeing student healthcare plans
facilitating routine screenings
providing emergency care, as needed
dispensing prescribed medications and treatments as specified in student healthcare plans
acting as a liaison between the school and the healthcare community
maintaining HIPPA and district compliant documentation

Requirements:

active Illinois RN license
recent school-based experience preferred, although we will consider an RN with pediatric experience outside of the school setting
additional requirements include excellent clinical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work well independently
