Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position in Birmingham, AL.

This is a full-time opportunity offering 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duties (typically one weekend per month). We are looking for an experienced home health nurse who is proficient in Oasis and Homecare Homebase to join our clients team.

Job Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients in their homes
  • Conduct thorough assessments using Oasis documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met
  • Educate patients and their families on disease processes and self-care techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Homecare Homebase
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and protocols

    Requirements:

  • Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of home health experience with geriatric patients
  • Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase
  • Oasis Certified strongly preferred 
  • Reliable transportation
  • Completion of Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer
