Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse Job

I am working with a school district near Shoreview, Minnesota that has a job opening for a licensed practical nurse. The licensed practical nurse will work in the school health office and help students with their daily medical needs. The students are in elementary school and will need assistance with things like medication administration, wound care, covid protocols, and many other common needs. For this role, the licensed practical nurse will need their licensure to work in Minnesota, their basic life support certification or first aid certification, and reliable transportation.

Weekly Hours:

• Full time
• 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM
• Monday through Friday

Job Details:

• Working in the health office 
• Assisting students with their daily medical needs
• Medication administration
• Wound care
• Covid testing and contact tracing
• Communicating with faculty and parents

Qualifications:

• Can work as a licensed practical nurse in Minnesota
• Active first aid or BLS certification
• Reliable transportation
