Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse

Immediate need for a Licensed Practical Nurse at a school in Dallastown, PA. Looking to hire a LVN for a school nursing position. Must have certification and nursing license for Pennsylvania.

This position is full time with at least 25 hours per week for summer and 40 hours per week for the 23/24 school year. Prospect will be the general nurse in the building. Payrate is $37/hr.

Description:

• 1:1 with a medically fragile 11th grade female student

• 8:15 AM pick up at students home; 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM school, 3:00 PM - 3:10 PM drop off at student s home
• Full-time
• Remainder of school year (ASAP - 5/31), and summer school (7/5 - 7/27, M-TH, 9:00-12:00.)
• Seizure Management, Mobility Assistance, and Self Care Needs
• Bus/Van riding involved (Nurse will park at the students home)
• Duties: Monitor on van for seizures, help transport her in her wheel chair throughout the day, assist with toileting, monitor while eating, assist with transfers from wheelchair to standing; monitor for safety, monitor for seizures and if needed, give rescue meds.
• Potential to renew for new school year!

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelors Degree of science or nursing
• Must be licensed through the state board
