Job Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with students, parents, and the school community to provide high-quality healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed to students in accordance with state regulations and school policies.
• Providing first aid and immediate medical attention to students in case of illness or injury.
• Assisting in managing and maintaining student health records and immunization documentation.
• Communicating with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding students' health concerns and needs.
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to support students' health and well-being.
• Conducting health screenings and assessments, identifying health issues, and recommending appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience in pediatric nursing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of students.
