Blazerworks, in partnership with the local school district in De Soto, KS, is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing healthcare support and promoting wellness among students. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and support to students, assessing their health needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and develop individualized healthcare plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure students' well-being and academic success.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid and emergency care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student health assessments and treatments.
• Promote health education and preventive measures among students and staff.
• Stay updated on current best practices and guidelines in school nursing through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing school health services.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Dedication to providing high-quality healthcare services to students.
