Full-Time School Licensed Practical Nurse

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time School LPN to work in a school district in Bolingbrook, IL. As a member of the school's healthcare team, the LPN will provide medical care and support to students as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health assessments and first aid to students as needed
• Administer medication and treatments prescribed by a physician
• Monitor and document student health records and medical histories
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals regarding student health concerns
• Assist with the development and implementation of health care plans for students with special needs
• Provide health education and counseling to students and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois LPN license
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation
