Full-Time School LPN

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work full-time in a school setting in Woodridge, IL. As an LPN, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide high-quality healthcare services to meet the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and provide medical treatment to students as prescribed by a licensed physician
• Monitor student health and communicate with parents and school staff about any health concerns
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide health education and counseling to students and staff
• Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to promote student health and well-being

Requirements:

• Active Illinois LPN license
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school
