Full-Time School Registered Nurse (RN) - Federal Way, WA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the 2023-24 school year in Federal Way, WA. As the School RN, you will play a crucial role in providing healthcare support to students, promoting a healthy and safe school environment, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and educators.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct healthcare services to students, including assessment, first aid, and administering medications as necessary.
  2. Develop and implement health plans for students with chronic health conditions in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other school staff.
  3. Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records for students.
  4. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until additional support arrives.
  5. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to create a safe and healthy learning environment.
  6. Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
  1. Current RN license in the state
  2. Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
  3. CPR and First Aid certification.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Contract Details:
