Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a School Nurse in Bethlehem, CT. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Conduct health assessments, maintain health records, and ensure students meet immunization and health screening requirements.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement health care plans for students with medical needs.
  • Respond to health emergencies, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up as needed.
  • Educate students, staff, and families about health-related topics, including illness prevention and wellness practices.
  • Monitor and control communicable diseases within the school setting.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and school policies.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric care is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple health concerns.
