Hiring Now! | School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Near Santa Maria, CA
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This is a contract position supporting students in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with individualized health plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Support students with specialized medical needs, including tracheostomies, ventilators, and g-tubes
Monitor and document student health status and interventions
Collaborate with school staff, families, and medical professionals to support student wellness
Assist with health education and promotion initiatives
Qualifications:
Active California LVN license
Pediatric experience is required
School-based experience is preferred
Experience with trachs, vents, g-tubes, and medication administration is highly preferred
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
