Procare Therapy is a leading healthcare staffing agency, dedicated to connecting qualified healthcare professionals with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled School Nurse (RN/LVN) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Federal Way, WA.

Position Overview: As a School Nurse contracted through Procare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students within the school setting. This position requires a caring and dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to students and collaborating with school staff to create a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Bus riding and 1:1 caseload
• Full dependent kiddo
• No trach/vent but has obstructive airway and chronic respiratory failure
• Feeding tube, cardiac condition, suctioning and supplemental 02
• Provide general nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with specific medical needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Washington state RN or LVN license.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Schedule:

• Full-Time (30-35 hours/week)
• Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year
