Home Health, Registered Nurse (RN)-Danville, KY

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Home Health team in the picturesque community of Danville, KY.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
• Length: 13 Week Contract, possibility of extension upon successful completion and performance
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Additional Availability: Occasional weekends and on-call
• Location: Danville, KY
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
• Compensation: Hourly pay, not by visit; Negotiable pay, based off territory and experience; Blended pay packages available for travelers; Mileage reimbursement

Job Duties:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and home care needs, leveraging Oasis and Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform various medical procedures, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses while maintaining detailed electronic records.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, such as therapists and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Active Kentucky RN license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience
• Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase software to be considered for hire
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
