Home Health, Registered Nurse (RN)-Edenburg, PA

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Home Health team in the picturesque community of Edenburg, Pennsylvania.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
• Length: 13 Week Contract, possibility of extension upon successful completion and performance
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Additional Availability: Occasional weekends and on-call
• Location: Edenburg, PA
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
• Compensation: Hourly pay, not by visit; Negotiable pay, based off territory and experience; Blended pay packages available for travelers; Mileage reimbursement

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and home care needs, ensuring a detailed understanding of each patient's unique situation.
• Collaborate closely with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on personalized goals and outcomes.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform necessary medical procedures with precision and in accordance with best practices.
• Monitor and meticulously document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, maintaining accurate electronic records.
• Offer comprehensive education to patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures, promoting patient empowerment and self-care.
• Coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including therapists and social workers, to ensure seamless and holistic patient care, facilitating team communication and collaboration.
• Strictly adhere to all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry standards to uphold the highest quality of care and ensure compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to patient needs and concerns, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, delivering patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism, advocating for the well-being of our patients.

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience
• Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase software to be considered for hire
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
