Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a dedicated and skilled Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week full-time contract in Bloomington, IN. In this field-based role, you’ll work in partnership with a well-regarded national home health agency to provide compassionate, patient-focused care in the home setting—supporting individuals in achieving their health goals and maintaining independence.

Position Details:

  • Duration: 13-week contract with possibility of extension upon successful completion.
  • Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month).
  • Location: Bloomington, IN and surrounding areas 
  • Compensation: Hourly rate negotiable based on experience and territory budget, with weekly pay and .48 c mileage reimbursement visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected 
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and 401k options available after 90 days.
  • Productivity: 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients 

    Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Indiana. 
  • Must be proficient in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience, including proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
  • Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.

    Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions utilizing Oasis and Homecare Homebase software, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide skilled nursing interventions, including wound care, medication management, and IV therapy, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, evaluating response to treatment and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and promote well-being.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, and symptom recognition, empowering them to actively participate in their care and promote self-management.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions, adhering to agency policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients and their families, cultivating a supportive and therapeutic environment.
