Sunbelt Staffing is working with a respected nationwide home health agency to hire a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time contract opportunity in Rocky Mount, NC.

This role allows you to provide personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes while enjoying the flexibility and fulfillment of field nursing. Competitive pay and mileage reimbursement included.

Job Details: 

  • Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing
  • Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency 
  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Location: Rocky Mount, NC 
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekends and on-call duties (typically once per month)
  • Pay: Negotiable based on territory budget.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k after 90 days
  • Mileage Reimbursement: .38c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected 
  • Productivity: 25-32 per week; up to 35 patients

    Job Duties:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on care techniques and health management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient care and progress in Homecare Homebase.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts.

    Job Requirements:

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required. 
  • Proficiency in Homecare Homebase.
  • Proficiency in Oasis. 
  • Reliable transportation for patient visits.
  • Completion of Joint Commission onboarding upon offer.

    Please Note: Due to this position being a contract role, the client will only consider candidates with previous home health experience, and candidates that are proficient in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
