Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Decatur, IL. This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts, with flexibility for days or nights, and includes every other weekend. The ideal candidate must hold an active IL RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Please note that this role is open to travelers only; locals residing within a 50-mile radius of Decatur are not eligible. Preferred qualifications include experience with EPIC and a minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient care.

    Qualifications:

  • Active IL RN license required.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
