Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Jefferson, GA. Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and delivering first aid for injuries.

Monitor and assess students’ health status, providing care for both acute and chronic medical conditions.

Create and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, ensuring compliance with state and school regulations.

Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics, wellness practices, and disease prevention.

Work closely with parents, teachers, and other healthcare providers to address any medical concerns.

Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.

Foster a healthy school environment by promoting health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care or school nursing.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Experience with children, particularly in a school or pediatric setting, is a plus.

Contract Details:

Location: Jefferson, GA

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Length: 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday
