In this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to students, ensuring they receive the care they need to thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring student health, performing routine health checks, and collaborating with school staff and parents to create a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and emergencies.
  • Conduct routine health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related issues and promote healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LVN license in the state of California.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents.
