Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time – Walker, MI
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Walker, Michigan. This rewarding opportunity allows you to positively impact the health and well-being of K–12 students within a collaborative and student-focused educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students with various medical needs, including chronic conditions, injuries, and medication administration
Monitor student health and maintain accurate, confidential records following school, district, and state policies
Support students requiring specialized medical care such as diabetic management, seizure monitoring, catheterization, and G-tube feedings
Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed within the school setting
Qualifications:
Active Michigan LPN license
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Preferred experience in pediatric, school-based, or community nursing
Strong clinical skills paired with excellent organizational abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to professional nursing standards
