Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time – Waverly, MI
Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, on-site position in a welcoming school district located in Waverly, Michigan. This is a meaningful opportunity to support the health and well-being of K–12 students while working as part of a collaborative school-based healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students with a variety of health needs, including chronic conditions, injuries, and daily medications
Monitor and document student health status in accordance with district and state protocols
Support students with specialized medical needs, including G-tube feedings, catheterizations, diabetic care, or seizure monitoring as required
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care plans are in place
Respond to medical emergencies and assist with crisis situations in the school setting
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in the state of Michigan
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to confidentiality and professional nursing standards
