Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • (Full School Year Contract Job)

    Location: Local School District support in Napoleonville, LA

  • K-12th

    Schedule: Duration of the full school year

  • Monday - Friday
  • Standard School Hours: Full-Time 37.5hrs weekly  

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and health monitoring.
  • Assist in managing chronic conditions and provide first aid during school hours.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student health and safety.
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state regulations.
  • Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related issues and prevention.

    Paraprofessional Position Requirements:

  • Educational:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credits preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited LPN program
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Previous experience as an LPN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
