ProCare Therapy is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse in the University Place, WA area that is seeking to join one of our trusted school districts for the 2022-2023 school year. Job Description:

1. 1:1 care for a medically fragile student
2. Student has a trach and requires in-line suctioning
3. G-tube care and feedings
4. Wheelchair bound and requires full assist with ADLs
5. Use of assistive technology
6. Students requires emergency oxygen as needed
7. UPSD and doctors have provided a well-detailed IHP (understanding of tracheostomy emergency care if becomes dislodged)
8. Requires bus supervision to/from school
9. Work day is approximately 7.5-8 hours
10. Summer program TBD
11. OSPI fingerprint clearance
12. Trach class provided by Therapy Travelers and/or through area hospitals
13. Additional in-district safety, health services and emergency training provided by the district (virtually)

Requirements:

• You must have an associate degree
• You must be certified in the state of employment to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• You must have at least one (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Interview Process:

• 10–15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview
