Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position

Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Bunker Hill, CT. In this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to students, ensuring their well-being and safety. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, conducting health assessments, and collaborating with school staff and parents to address student health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, first aid, and health assessments.
  • Maintain and update student health records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student health and safety.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic health conditions.
  • Respond to health emergencies and provide appropriate care and referrals as needed.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics to promote wellness.

    Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Connecticut.
  • Experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a school environment and manage health emergencies.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
