Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Los Gatos, CA. The LVN will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students and staff in accordance with the policies and procedures of the school district and state regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to special needs students
- Administer medication and treatments to students and staff as ordered by physicians
- Monitor student and staff health conditions and report any changes or concerns to the school nurse or physician
- Assist with maintaining student health records and ensuring confidentiality
- Implement infection control policies and procedures
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
- Collaborate with the school nurse and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement healthcare plans for students with chronic illnesses or disabilities
- Participate in training and professional development activities

Qualifications:

- Current California LVN license
- Current CPR and BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
