Exciting Opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in Los Angeles, CA!

Are you a dedicated nurse with a passion for supporting student health and well-being? We are excited to offer a full-time position in Los Angeles, CA, for the upcoming academic year. This role involves providing specialized 1:1 care to a 2nd-grade student at ICEF Inglewood.

Position: LVN or RN (Full-Time)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Start Date: August 12, 2024
End Date: June 9, 2025
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Caseload: 1:1 with a 2nd-grade student
School: ICEF Inglewood

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialized Care: Provide 1:1 care for a student who experiences seizures, including monitoring and responding to medical needs.
  • Health Monitoring: Conduct routine health assessments and manage the student’s medical care plan.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate health records and document care provided.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to support the student’s health and educational needs.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle seizure-related emergencies and other health concerns.

    Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid LVN or RN license in California.
  • Experience: Experience with seizure management is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a school setting.
