Exciting Opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Escondido, CA!

Are you an experienced LVN eager to support students’ health and well-being? We are offering a full-time position in Escondido, CA, for the upcoming academic year. This role involves providing 1:1 support on the bus and group support within the school. We are looking for professionals skilled in G-tube feedings, female catheterizations, diabetes management, and trach care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer G-tube feedings and ensure proper care.
  • Perform female catheterizations with proficiency and sensitivity.
  • Manage diabetes care, including monitoring blood sugar levels and administering insulin.
  • Provide tracheostomy care, including cleaning and maintaining the trach tube.
  • Deliver 1:1 support for a student on the bus and group support in the school setting.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to address students’ health needs.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
  • Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

    Requirements:

  • Valid California LVN license.
  • Proficiency in G-tube feedings, female catheterizations, diabetes management, and trach care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred but not required.
