Licensed Vocational Nurse Needed in the Mark West, CA Area

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for an Extended School Year (ESY) position. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in need. The ideal candidate will have experience with Gtube feedings and be available Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to a 1:1 caseload of students during the Extended School Year.
• Administer Gtube feedings as required by the child's individualized healthcare plan.
• Monitor and assess the health status of students, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of the students.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of nursing interventions and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid California LVN license.
• Previous experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those requiring Gtube feedings, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in the well-being of children.
